**Returning to work after holidays ** {{::returning_to_work_after_holidays.jpg?400|}} Sitting back the familiar seat and feeling like I was just here yesterday after a 2-week holiday. I did check out a lot of things during the vacation and had more time to explore the things I did not, such as the TV series of one hundred years’ solitude, SILO, DUNE, and Squad game. Far beyond that, I explored outside more in this chilled and snowy winter break, such as the museum, library, swimming pool with a 7m-diving board and the gym every day. There are a lot of ways to spend the holiday with family. But one thing I can ascertain in common is that time was not withstandable before planning more things. Anyway, when I sit back in this one and half year’ seat, everything is in order with less distraction. I even imagine sitting still to read an e-book. How could this happen? Why do I have to come to the working place to have a sense of working? I guess there are a lot of cues, including a cup of tea, a simple and wide desk, the typing and clicking sound from others, the supervisor’s seat which is not far from behind. Yes, that is the clear ritual in working environment which provides predictability, bringing a sense of comfort and reducing stress and anxiety. Believing it or not, I always assuming I was working while I sat in the office. Through this specific ritual, I can feel a sense of belonging to a group, fostering acceptance and understanding with colleagues, which is important for mental and social connection. World peace 2025!
