+When it comes to year of 2024, I have owned some more publications in protocol format, I was aiming to submit the career story to Nature (career column section) to fight a chance for higher impact journal, but unfortunately, the idea was similar to a previous piece. (https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-03249-2)

+After multiple attempts on the other journals (Science, EMBO, Frontiers etc.) and Magazines (Scientific American and University affairs), I still had no good luck there. So I asked myself whether or not my content was not suitable for the potential readers. Who shall really care about the message I was trying to convey. The story was a happy ending, I found a home best for that piece, I should give a big shout out to the editor. The final revision was completely different from the first version, which had been greatly improved in content and format. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666166725002795

+But, the story has not ended yet, the process of fixing the career story piece is becoming very valuable experience for me. I am fortunate to have this one published, but I will be much careful for the next time finding the right journal with matched readers.
