Summer has come, keep up your day-to-day habits

Knowledge is the beginning of practice; doing is the completion of knowing. - Wang Yangming (Ming dynasty ~1500AD)

Summer has come, that is sign of the beginning of summer term, flowers are blooming in campus, grasses and leaves have already decorated the city in green everywhere. As a maritime city with many historical and natural sites, it is not surprised to see the street getting busy and vibrant again.

As an early career researcher, I have settled down here for nearly nine months and maintained a routine from home to lab or gym, barely could feel anything lost when the pandemic is occurring outside. Nevertheless, it did make it inconvenient to plan ahead and travel around at a weekend. Forget it, it is bad weather outside. Forget it, it is pandemic outside. Forget it, you got lots of things to do.

Maybe I am too ambitious, maybe I am too urgent to reach something. I was thinking reading a book, polishing my skills, exercise my body every day, that’s what I am knowing and acting.
